What do you think of the results of this new Republican straw poll in NH? 1. Romney 2. Ron Paul 3. Pawlenty?
Although I don’t agree with Ron Paul on every single issue, he does seem like a rare breed of honest politician. It would be fascinating to see him debate Obama in presidential election setting.
Also, are Republicans really thinking about nominating Romney (the guy who instituted a mini-version of Obamacare in the state of MA)? Wouldn’t nominating Romney basically undercut the credibility of any opposition they have to the new law?

DERRY, N.H. – Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney won the first presidential straw poll of the 2012 cycle, kicking off New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary election race.
Romney won with 35 percent, beating second-place finisher Ron Paul by 24 points in the WMUR-ABC News straw poll of members of the state Republican Party. In third place was former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, who won 8 percent—just one point ahead of Sarah Palin, who drew 7 percent.
Ron Paul should be #1 and RINO Romney should be last
